Day 7: Bryce Canyon, eleven below zero just before sunrise. We are *THE
ONLY TOURISTS* in the park. See me in the rear-view mirror?
We spent last night (Christmas day) at Ruby's Best Western Inn near the entrance to the park. It's a very good place to stay. We got a nice room with a private two-person whirlpool sauna, just off the heated, indoor swimming pool (remember, we camped out at Chaco Canyon). We had a nice dinner and, the next morning after returning from our drive through Bryce Canyon, a delicious breakfast. We were able to get a late checkout, so we had time to refresh ourselves before repacking the car and heading for Zion National Park.
