Day 9: Paula and I visit my cousin, Ellen, at her home in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Ellen used to be in the retail fur business and made the beautiful coyote fur coat that you see Paula wearing in some of the photos. We left the fur with Ellen, who returned it to my brother John later. Ellen is Doug's sister (you saw Paula between John and cousin Doug in the photo on page 15). Ellen and Doug are my father's sister's children, and well-loved in my family.
