Day 2: Capulin Volcano. This shot was taken from the road going up and around the Capulin Volcano National Monument in northern New Mexico. I bought a National Parks pass so that our visits would be more economical. We had planned on visiting 10 National Parks and Monuments, although we ended up seeing only 8. We got to walk into the crater, but I couldn't get any good photographs. It's worth the trip, though.
