Audio and Video Clips
This project included making an audio recording of the interview sessions, both for backup to my notes and correspondence, and so I could extract some pertinent sound clips for inclusion with the profiles. In addition, I recorded each interviewee saying, in the language of their country, "Hello, this is <my name> in <my city>, at your service."

In this wonderful digital age, it is also possible to capture low-resolution videos with my digital camera. With the exception of Kirill, you can see each of the experts in motion while they recite the phrase that was simultaneously being captured on audio cassette.

Note that each video is provided in both MPG and Quicktime Movie formats. Some folks may have to right click and save the videos to their hard drive before being able to watch them. It may be helpful to download the files in any case, even if you have a fast internet connection. Viewers of the CD-ROM version of this presentation should have no problems.
