Dear Colleague,
I am looking for opportunities to travel and at the same time put my background and talents to use.
I am a Political and Social Psychologist. I recently retired from a position as Senior Mathematical Statistician at the US General Accountability Office. I dedicated my career to the premise that good public policy is based on good social science information.
I was elected to fellow status in APA and SPSSI based on contributions to methodology in social and policy issues. I am a member of APA divisions on Stat, Evaluation, Methods (5), Personality and Social Psychology (8), Psychological Study of Social Issues (9), Population and Environment (34), and Peace and Conflict Resolution (48). I have been a member of ISPP since it was started. I am a member of the American Statistical Association, and the sections on Social Statistics, Government Statistics, and Homeland Defense. I am President of the Capital Area Social Psychological Association. I am on SPSS’s cluster analysis advisory group.
Over the course of my career I have consulted on at least 200 doctoral dissertations in many disciplines. I served in an oversight and mentoring capacity on at least 1000 Congressional investigations/evaluations. These were classified and unclassified studies of the activities of the US Government. Many were on National Security and International Affairs. I also participated in GAO’s Terrorism Knowledge Network where we were briefed by senior agency officials and flag officers on biological, chemical, cyber, and other aspects of terrorism.
