| When I was a young man living in Hollywood, California, I had the opportunity to meet Luisa Triana, the great flamenco dancer who taught there, and to see her perform--a performance at which I was moved to tears by her artistry and the beauty of her performance. Naturally, I wanted to see a Flamenco performance, if possible, during my one night in Madrid.
The famous Casa Patas was sold out, so I got on the standby list, then got lucky. |
