This is a self-portrait taken with my flat-bed scanner. Yes...this photograph was created with my scanner just tipped on its side. It's a straight scan. I pumped a little extra light on my hair so I'd stand out from the background.

I created this for a WeeklyShot theme, "Alone," as part of my online argument with another photographer that a scanner is a type of digital camera. I won the argument.
