Mary Lou is a friend of mine from the early 70's when we both lived in Austin, Texas. Lou was a ballet dancer and is one of the most intelligent women I've ever met.

I wanted to take her portrait, but Lou is very camera shy. She wouldn't look in the lens and was very uncomfortable. We ended the photo session immediately after I took this shot.
