| Willie collects cardboard signs inscribed by the homeless and other unfortunates. When he spotted this young man (I'll call him Billy) displaying a sign (now under Willie's arm), he said, "How much for the sign?" "Ten dollars" was the reply. As soon as Willie reached for his wallet, the price went up. "Twenty dollars!" Billy cried.
After a little bargaining and bickering, Willie shelled out the twenty and I got a shot of them, now best friends, at no extra charge. |
