Peacock-Full-Size

My husband and I found this buffet cabinet at a garage sale for $25. He refurbished it structurally, and I stripped it and applied the designs to the doors. The design is fashioned from papers, ribbons and peacock feathers. A cover of clear diamonds of plexiglass protects the feathers and holds them in place. The handles are the originals but I added the little ball pulls at the top. It turned out nice and I love it, as I now have a place for lots of odd things, e.g., serving pieces not used daily and a collection of doilies and decorative items used only for holiday dinner tables.
