A little bedside table, made of maple, that used to belong to my brother. The undercoat is a deep burnt orange over which I stippled brown. The contrasting texture in the top center and drawer fronts was created by dragging a comb across the surface. As a small decorative touch, each drawer has two upholstery tacks painted copper to match the drawer pulls.
