Narrowboat. Near the Poachers Pocket

Morning view, moored near the Poacher's Pocket, just outside Chirk.

We found the Poacher's Pocket by chance while on our driving tour, and stopped for a meal. We found the pub to be friendly and the food to be good, so we planned to moor there for our second night on the canal. We had another good meal and took some delicious bread pudding back to the boat for dessert.

Early the next morning, a woman on horseback provided some appealing entertainment as we drank our tea.
